Day Tours From Amman are available for you to explore the city and its surroundings. Our Amman day tour starts at 9:00 am from your hotel or apartment in Amman with a short stop at the Roman Theater, where you can see the ruins of this ancient structure. You will have time there to explore its streets, monuments and houses still intact from the Roman era. At 1:00 pm, we will return to Amman for lunch before heading towards Petra by 3:00 pm, which is about 4 hours away from Amman by car. On our way to Petra, we’ll stop at Dana Nature Reserve, where you can enjoy exploring Dana Reserve and Dana Village with your guide, who will tell you more about these places during your visit. After visiting Dana Nature Reserve, we continue driving towards Petra until we reach our hotel in Petra around 7:30 pm. We finally checked in for dinner & overnight stay at our hotel in Petra city centre.

DetailsThere are taxis which will take you anywhere in Amman; a 10 km ride should cost around 2 JD. Some might be willing to take you even further afield, but you should negotiate the price in advance. The Airport Express bus runs between Amman Airport and Amman central station. The fare is 3 JD, and buses usually run every 30 minutes from 6 AM to 6 PM and every hour at night. The trip takes 45 minutes to an hour.
